Mick Hucknall has announced that he will be coming back to London to play the Hammersmith Apollo as part of his UK tour on Sunday 28th April 2013.
The announcement of this exclusive London show follows great demand for tickets to the preview shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London on September 18th and September 19th 2012.
This will be Mick Hucknalls first UK solo tour American Soul in April 2013. This hails the beginning of a new chapter for ex-Simply Red frontman Hucknall after the final curtain fell on Simply Red at their triumphant sell-out Farewell Tour in December 2010.
On what promises to be a series of very special and intimate nights in Hucknalls glittering career, he will showcase his forthcoming new solo album American Soul, featuring his own take on classic songs which have inspired him throughout his life.
Mick is renowned for his great interpretations of others songs, having already had global hits with Moneys Too Tight To Mention, If You Dont Know Me By Now and You Make Me Feel Brand New. The start of Hucknalls solo career gives him free rein to record, together on one album, his favourites from his own personal journey through the American soul genre including classics songs such as I Only Have Eyes For You, Id Rather Go Blind and Thats How Strong My Love Is.
